 Welcome! You may be feeling the pressures of buying selling a home NOW! Please take a few minutes to learn more about me, Leslee Smith. My specialty is in the tri-county area including Barry, Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties. Buying a home? I will provide you with confidence in finding the home you are looking for in a price range you can manage. Once we find a home I will negotiate an acceptable purchase contract and guide you through the steps of home inspection, title transfer, obtaining mortgage and insurance and other legalities of transferring the home into your name. Selling a home? I will provide you with confidence that your home is priced appropriately, I will go over the marketing plan for your home, I will negotiate an acceptable offer for you, and once we have the purchase contract I will help you through the steps of title transfer, mortgage payoff, sales and property tax transfers and the other legalities of transferring the home to another owner. Both Buying and Selling? What do you do: buy first, sell first, or either way make it contingent on the other happening? This is all your decision and the motiviation for the change in the first place. Financially speaking, consider the consequences of buying before you sell and consult your lender and a real estate consultant to make an informed descision. Returning Client? I think the most common comment I get from my clients is that they appreciate that I am down to earth. I think what they mean to say can be summed up in the next couple of sentences:
I don't claim to know everything but I can usually find the answer and get back to you.
If I say I am going to do something, I do it.
There are hundreds of homes for sale in Kalamazoo County alone, I don't claim to have been in all of them but I will focus my efforts and do the best that I can to learn about the homes that meet my niche.
I sometimes get lost, but now that I have a GPS navigation system this happens less often.
I have a sense of humor but my analytical characteristics usually keep me on track, so I will get to some of the details.

Pleasant area but I am not going to tell you the year - Graduate from Michigan Tech University with a BS in Metallurgical Engineering. I worked in the industry for about 7 years and grew tired of moving and since I LOVE MICHIGAN, I called it quits and went out on my own - Certified Meeting Planner, yes, there is a certification for everything! This is actually quite helpful in everyday life. - I have lived in several other states and most recently moved from the Howell / Brighton area This community has warmly welcomed me when my family and I moved here back in 2002.
